Carmen Harra - PhD FRAUD

We found two addresses for Carmen Harra, in New York, NY and Hollywood, FL. "Singing sensation" Harra claims to be an intuitive psychologist, certified relationship coach, and best-selling author. She also claims to have earned a PhD in Hypnosis and Alternative Healing from Albert University. First, our readers already know that there is no legitimate doctorate in hypnosis. Second, readers may remember the other fraudsters we busted who claimed to have earned a PhD from Albert University, aka a Diploma Mill. See http://www.degreeinfo.com/general-distance-learning-discussions/2323-new-phony-albert-university.html

If you want to pay $400/hr to talk to a person with a fake doctorate, then you are extremely gullible, stupid, or both.

  1. I actually spoke with her twice by phone for a fee. Carmen was VERY unfocused. First by a blaring lawnmower outside her home that roared and I could barely hear, and second time -- she advertises Paypal on her website (which I purchased for one hour at $230). She became distraught and told me not to use Paypal and she could not access the funds from there. I put in a three-way call to Paypal to explain the problem and they said there is no problem with her account that she had it under her deceased husband's name and they needed a death certificate to verify it was her to retrieve funds. I used my time and experience as a business person to work this all out for her. She still required me to pay and did not give any type of a discount. When I inquired about her degree, she said "anyone can do it". Now I know how....

  2. My wife was taken in by this person, and she began telling her things about me. when I looked into her degree and possible licensure (I am a licensed psychologist), I found your site and no evidence of state licensure in psychology.
I emailed her and pleasantly asked her to
Stop speaking to my wife. Harra responded to my wife, norms, and said I was threatening (I actually wrote “I cordially ask you not to...”) and aggressive and said that she was contacting an attorney. What a joke, if you look into her lawsuit history, she does not have much luck... anyway, I hope others will find you website to enlighten them about her credentials
